Vintage turkish kilim. Vintage turkish kilim from central anatolia, very pretty with lovely deep autumnal colours. Woven in the mountains near the city of yozgat in the early 1960s this is a really nice kilim in excellent condition for its age. Woven by nomadic people in the mountains on narrow looms in three separate strips and joined together, usual format is to join two pieces but this rare kilim is made of three panels. Slight colour variation occurs due to nomadic people moving around and changes is water, light and wool results in slightly different shades. Cleaned and dusted fully for you to enjoy from the moment you receive.
