Georges Tigien bedbench

rare! Bedbench / daybed by designer Georges Tigien, made for "The European House" in the 1960s, made of lacquered wood and plastic yarn. The Tigian style is recognizable with its thick white laces that form loops on the side grooves and stand out from black satin wood (teck). Balance of the structure that plays with its full and empty! The laces are made of Prenas yarn, named after the French plastic manufacturer. This set consists of two benches, one of which can be placed in a back against the wall or on the floor to make a double extra bed. A yaw has been severed (reliable repair see photo), the repainted set is in good condition. If you are interested, you can also have custom made mattresses and cushions.
