Brazilian patched leather lounge chair with table, 1960s. Wow, what a rare catch! This very special and unique easy chair comes all the way from brazil. A beautiful design through the use of natural materials. Brazilian design is known for its wooden craftsmanship. Very unique design because little or no use is made of glue and screws. This makes the design very durable. Material: wood & camel leather. Fits completely in the interior trend of today; sustainable & natural materials. Definitely a cool design that gives a lot of character to your home. Considering the age in a beautiful lived condition with patina. Give your interior more soul with this rare example. This mid-century brazilian patchwork armchair was created by a group of young brazilian designers who created some of the most extraordinary furniture in the 1960s and 1970s, using traditional materials and techniques with a forward-thinking, relaxed attitude. That's why this set is in the style of mid-century modern designers such as jean gillon, percival lafer and sergio rodrigues. This set is handcrafted and features a tropical hardwood frame that supports a very thick leather sling seat stitched with gaucho style leather lacing. It has a patchwork leather cushion on top with decorative stitching. The armchair is in good condition and the leather cushion has a patina.
