Description
This coffee table carved in teak was initially the lower part of a manual mill that was used to make flour, an essential ingredient of chapati. Originally, an opening in the center of the table hosted a first stone disc, fixed, and on top was laid a second stone disc, rotating this time, to allow the grain to be ground. This old mill has been restored (the engravings are original), the central hole has been filled, in order to make it functional as a coffee table, end of sofa... And in order to give it a second life. Differences in tone between old wood and wood repairs are therefore possible, but will diminish over time. It is an old piece, which bears the marks of time and its use, which contributes to its charm!.
