Very rare find, royal copenhagen porcelain pipe carrier, oyster-shaped made in 1923 and marked and numbered 4553 on the bottom. 1923 mark of blue waves. Crown and denmark punched green under the glaze. Porcelain pipe rest in the shape of an oyster shell, perfect for an advised porcelain collector or for a pipe collector. A unique, textured and exquisite piece hand-shaped in 1923, denmark. Superb room in excellent condition, no damage or shine. Could be used as a décor, a small dish for coins or rings or even as an exquisite clipboard. Made in soft and delicate tones of blue and gray with some iridescence. A realistic oyster half-shell, made in translucent tones of gray and pale blue with opalescence, this pipe rest is a rare find. Materials and techniques enamelled porcelain. Place of origin denmark. Early 20th century period. Date of manufacture 1923. The measures: Length: 5.1"/13 cm. Wide: 3.7"/9.5 cm. Height: 2.3"/6 cm. Weight: 256g. Since my items are vintage, this means that they are older and will have some wear and tear. Please look carefully at all photos and ask questions before making your purchase. We will be happy to send more photos on request.
