Vintage glass cabinet

Do you like rustic furniture, full of charm and you have a high ceiling "pesouge" is made for you! It is an oak cabinet (except the shelves and the bottom). It's very, very heavy! The person who made it was a family friend, who designed it all by himself in his garage. Really unique then! It dates from the 70s. It has beautiful proportions, very high and narrow. The doors are glazed with three large patterned yellow glazing. In the lower part, there are solid panels nicely worked. I deliberately left the interior in its juice, with the original varnish and all the visible marks, witnesses of its time. The bottom of the cabinet is in medium, with traces (see photos). The five shelves are in their juice, all different and made of plywood (see photos n°7). They are removable if the small woods nailed to the sides are removed, but are placed on fixed cleats. The exterior has been completely stripped. The shade of the wood is soft and clear, with the patina of time impregnated in the fibers of the wood. The cabinet locks with a hook to block the left door. "pesouge" is made of raw wood. Possibility to varnish it on request. Note small gaps in the joints of the glazing (see photos n ° 13), small strokes in the wood here and there, (see photo n ° 9) traces... The base from left to bottom is slightly curled, but does not alter the stability of the furniture. The furniture will find its place in a living room, a kitchen, a dining room, a bedroom, or a shop... Provided that there is at least 2.50m high ceiling! A functional, robust and atypical piece of furniture. Ideal for an authentic interior and country spirit. You will see the original furniture in the last photo. Warning: all furniture keeps small scars of time. Despite all the care taken, small defects and imperfections are inherent in the use.
