One of the icon of polish mid-century design, very rare nowadays pair of gfm 300-192 armchairs, designed by juliusz kędziorek - the author of many innovative, iconic furniture designs. The set has been manufactured by goscicinska furniture factory in poland in the 1960s. The structure is made of solid beech wood in a warm walnut color, finished with a semi matte satine varnish. The upholstery is made of one of a kind, highest quality jacquard fabric in deep green color with leaves pattern, designed by anna grabowska, coming from a very small weaving workshop. The set has been professionally restored - the wood has been manually cleaned of the old coating, stained and varnished. The tension belts have been changed, new upholstery foams used, reapholstered with new fabric.
