Faux bamboo and brass leather folding campaign chair,England ca 1920

An antique faux-bamboo and leather folding campaign chair for the uk, ca 1920. The wooden, bamboo-turned frame is upholstered in brown leather with brass tone tacks along the edges. It features a slanted, padded back above a cushioned seat flanked by arm straps with grommets. It rises on a collapsible, x-form base joined by front and rear stretchers. The chair is further embellished with brass tone finials as well as arm and leg terminals. The leather and chair are both in a lovely patinated condition.
