I sell my german grandmother's sofa from the 60s. This is a sofa from the danish manufacturer poul jeppesens møbelfabrik made of teak with the original cushions and fabrics. We started to redo it with custom foam cushions and a quality fabric 100% cotton velvet reference f2754016 blue duck of frey stone. It's up to you to decide if you want to finish the back as well, take the original cushions or redo everything with a new fabric. My grandparents were very careful and the sofa is in excellent condition with minimal wear and tear. The fabrics have no stain and only a few marks of use. A 2nd 3-seater sofa can also be sold with it. Concerning the brand: the notable creations of p. Jeppesen include the colonial pj-149 chair (1949), the rungstedlund lounge chair (circa 1950) and wanscher's pj-112 sofa (1951); and jalk's iconic post-war gj chair—also known as the shell chair (1963). This piece of molded teak plywood has a distinctive origami-shaped shape, obtained through a complex process of bent and rolling; its manufacturing complexity limited its production to only a few hundred. However, it was recovered by the museum of modern art in new york the year of its release. In 2009, the gj chair was put back into production by the danish manufacturer large and unsurprisingly, the original mid-century editions remain highly sought after on the second-hand market.
