First semi-visible typewriter with interchangeable writing. The characters are gathered on a pad or circular segment, attached to the center wheel with 3 letter heights. The pushing of a button triggers the movement either to the left or right of the segment. A hammer hits the paper from behind and presses it against the ink ribbon, in front of the chosen character. Two keys of capital letters. The segment is interchangeable. The keyboard has three rows of keys. The paper wraps in a metal mesh drum. The type-striking mechanism was identical to that of the pratt machine, built between 1861 and 1865.
