Table travailleuse Napoléon III stamped "TAHAN Paris"

Blackened wood veneer worker decorated with brass nets, chiseled and gilded bronze trim. Napoleon III era. Signature on the lock "tahan paris" Perfect condition after restoration. Buffer varnish. Tahan cabinetmaker of napoleon iii, provides the imperial furniture storage. Tahan was present at exhibitions from 1849 to 1867; he won a silver medal in 1849, one in london in 1852, and the gold medal in 1867.
