Eames DSW ankle chair made by Herman Miller dating from the late 1950s/early 60s. In a very rare terracotta of original coloured fiberglass caps mounted on shock-proof supports with a walnut base. Recent leg. Original Herman Miller stamps on hull. We overwhelmingly prefer the original fiberglass shells to the modern polypropylene versions, because the patina is so adorable and they are doing so well - a very important consideration with a home full of children! In excellent general condition with only a few very small signs and signs related to their age, but nothing obvious. (look at the photo). An extraordinary chair, absolutely classic, very collectable that illuminates each room.
