Coffee table in glass and chrome, 70s

Large vintage coffee table in chrome metal and smoky glass tray. The table is originally from germany. The pure, simple and elegant design typical of the 70s as well as the materials used, are reminiscent of the lines of designers such as sprunger, bredhol or hesterberg. The foot has four branches in the shape of an arch or sheaf. It is in very good original condition, was just nicely clean to preserve its patina of time. Some slight marks and traces of use and time at the screws, but no rust or other. There are skates under the base. The tray is made of smoky colour edin (the exact reference of this color for tempered glass is called bronze), it has gray reflections, see light brown depending on brightness and angle of vision. The tray is just under a metre in diameter and 6 mm thick. Its grandeur will allow it to be a central piece and to sit in the middle of one or two canapes or lounge chairs. There are again some traces of use and time on the board and edge that I dare not even call scratches so the 2 presents are tiny (see photos). I put a maximum of photos in order to show the table at the best of all angles. The protective skates above the tray to protect the glass are in perfect condition. Well on the tray is removable. This vintage table with an industrial or design look is stable, solid (the tray is 11 kgs and the foot 7 kgs will be perfect for any interior both retro and contemporary.
