DAR armchair by Charles et Ray Eames for Herman Miller

Chair by Charles and Ray Eames in "elephant grey" color, on his original eiffel base, dar (dining (d) height, arm (a) chair, on rod (r) base). Edition Herman Miller, produced by the general american transportation corporation, one of the top three manufacturers of fiberglass hulls. Reconseable by the double triangle. The chair is very fibrous, typical of these old hulls. Good condition, a crack repaired many years ago. Eiffel piètement black paint with rust marks and old repairs (welds) underneath. Shockmounts and original screws. It is possible to exchange the foot by a walnut dowel base (dsw) at no extra price.
