Biography: Gérard pipart joined nina ricci as artistic director in 1964 and did not leave the house until his retirement 35 years later. He died in 2013. He was one of the first ready-to-wear designers and embodied elegance and creation at nina ricci. He made his debut at balmain, then at fath, ginvenchy, and chloé. There he designed "a modern, pretty ready-to-wear fashion that women who used to dress up in haute couture wanted. It was in 1957 with his life that he "entered posterity." Later at nina ricci, he asserted his style described as "poetic, elegant and refined nina ricci, born maria Adelaide nielli, in Turin in 1883 and died on November 30, 1970.
