Sofa President by Ingemar Thillmark for OPE Möbler, 1960s

This leather three-seater president sofa was designed by ingemar thillmark for the swedish manufacture ope möbler during the 1960s. The modernist frame and six loosely cushions were covered with natural leather in a brown-earthy color with a natural patina. Under the cushions, there is a cotton cover and the signature of the manufacture. The base is made of solid wood legs. This classic model reflects the scandinavian style of the mid-century modern era. This sofa is in original vintage condition with signs of age, discoloration on the leather, minor scratches. The seat is 39 cm high.
