Advertising underside "Le Pompon" Vallauris

This tray or underside is a unique example of its kind. This is a special order from the durand dairy in thiaucourt in meurthe-et-moselle in the 50s. She asked the atelier fpp in vallauris (faïences et poteries de provence created in 1950 by j. Calvas-blanchon and j. Rossignol) to create a ceramic tray with the effigy of her cheese "le pompon". They wanted to find the visual of their cheese label. Everything is there, the creamer with her pompom cap, the slogan enough... Speaking: "the less good I smell, the better I am."
