Original vintage armchair, restored, 60s, beige fabric

The armchair, commonly known as a shell, was manufactured in the no longer existing German Democratic Republic and dates back to the 1960s. The armchair underwent a complete renovation. It consisted of removing old material, sponges, belts and insects. Then the metal frame was cleaned, protected against corrosion and re-painted. The next step was to pull on the new belts, put on a sponge and put on a sheep. The culmination of the renovation was the upholstery with a beautiful woven fabric with stain resistant properties. The feet were cleaned and re-painted with matt black varnish. Metal feet polished. The chair looks great. All stages of the renovation were carried out taking into account the original production process.
