Aluclair 1970's polished aluminium brutalist lamp

Beautiful lamp with a polished aluminum brutalist design manufactured by aluclair, Belgium between 1970 and 1979. Aluclair was founded by designer and artist willy luickx to distribute his works. In addition to the lamps, he made tables, harnesses and candlesticks in the same brutalist style. This artist has been dead for several years. It was particularly successful in the united states, where his lamps were even seen in several films (the example photo shows one of these lamps in the 1979 film meteor starring karl malden and sean connery). The lamp presented here is in its original state except for the plug and blind, which have been replaced; the foot is polished aluminum mirror with "brulages" dull. The white day offal is always new in its original protective packaging (niederau production); the protective plastic explains the gloss in the images but the lampshade is classically matte. Socket silver e27 for any led bulb or filament standard. The test was carried out with a 40w filament bulb. Foot height only 35 cm - height with lampshade 55 cm -- foot diameter 9 cm -- h lampshade 19 cm - 35 cm diameter. Rare piece of contemporary design.
