Radassier or wooden bench sitting mulched

Provencal bench type radassier or radassié, wooden and seat mulched. The straw is in very good condition, the wood is in its patina, it has traces of use and insect holes. A defect to note: there is a metal angle under the seat, at the junction with the foot, see photos. I think that the wood of the seat was damaged and this angle was placed to consolidate, it holds but we perceive that the seat is more sagging at this level, we see it a little on the photos. And I would avoid overusing this part of the bench by putting too much weight or tension on it.
