Ebony candlesticks

Here is a nice duo of black wooden candlesticks (ebony? ). These candlesticks represent african characters. A couple of africans. The man holds in one hand a spike, and in the other like a bag; the woman is holding a container with both hands. These candlesticks, or statues are thin, slender. They're in good condition. One of the two holds a container in his hand, this is done by a rudimentary attachment made to the country that was left (see photo). Height 37 cm. Width 5 cm. Depth 7 cm.
