Raffia underside fruit shape apple

They have lived and it shows! But one more life will not frighten them! Friendly set of 2 undersides in braided and colorful raffia, in red, yellow and green, in the shape of fruits, apple probably. They are not very young, maybe from the 60s or 70s. They are still beautifully colored and will still serve properly to protect your table from hot pans, but they do not hide their age and the defects that go with it: raffia a little worn, colors that fade in places, and the strings that hold the braids in place to form the fruit are relaxed in places (hence the "hole" on the red apple I think), tightening it all up with a new string could be a good idea, it's up to you!. They measure about 18 cm in diameter and are 1.2 cm thick. Each weighs about 60 g.
