Tizio lamp on foot by Richard Saper for Artemide

1980 Tizio lamp on foot and articulated arm and orientable head object from the industrial design created by designer Richard Sapper. The first edition of this lamp dates from 1972. It has since been commissioned and marketed by Artemide. The operation of the lamp was revolutionary at the time of its creation: the foot of the lamp serves as a base and transformer to increase the voltage from 220 to 12 volts. The current is then distributed on the studs, then on the two articulated arms equipped with counterweights, to finally come to feed the halogen lamp.
