Description: oil on canvas portrait of gorky (1868-1939), considered the founder of socialist realism in literature and committed to bolshevik revolutionaries, he is close to lenin. The painting, in the style of soviet socialist realism, is one of the many commissions of soviet propaganda, probably displayed in a local museum or administrative building. The painting is not signed since it was officially a commission from the state for which the artist copied the same theme.
