Velvet armchair by michel cadestin for airborne. Fiberglass shell, 2 fixed feet at the front, 2 castors at the back for easier movement. Worn/grated brown velvet. A tear at the top of the backrest, and imminent tearing of an armrest. D 90 cm, l 83 cm, h 75 cm, seat height 38 cm. Michel cadestin (born 1942) is a french designer and interior designer. He studied at the école boulle, as well as at the école supérieure des arts décoratifs. In 1970, cadestin met christian ragot with whom he researched materials such as plastic and latex foam. In the 80s, he decided to found his own agency to continue the creation of furniture and housing layout. In 1988, he received the rené gabriel prize for his body of work. M227.
