Oil painting on canvas by Gabriel Coldefy

Rare painting by the parisian painter gabriel coldefy (1911-1988) representing a "landscape by a lake", signed gc lower left. This painter frequented the famous workshop of the grande chaumière in montparnasse. (where gauguin, modigliani, andré lhote among others painted) and was part of the expressionist movement of the mid-twentieth century. This very colorful painting is quite representative of his style.
