Description
Old wooden and brass tray balance, period late 19th and early 20th. Made by the mulatière factories in lyon (house béranger - joseph béranger perfected the scale of roberval in the 19th century, and gave its name to its own pendulum scale model). Range 2 kg. A crate plated in fruit wood and thinly bordered. Each façade of the crate has a window of sight closed with a glass. The weighing trays are marked l. Dresch 77 rue de chanzy reims, topped by a crowned star. Note the various punches: the trade scales were punched by the weights and measures service; after the republican (1789-1795) and royal (1795-1871) symbols came the letters ("punch of good faith"). Some traces of use due to his age. Dimensions: length 44 cm, width 17 cm, height (off tray) 11 cm, diameter tray 18 cm.
