Chinese four-poster bridal bed carved gilded wood 1900

Authentic and rare Indonesian four-poster wedding bed carved and gilded wood. Fronton and balusters are richly carved and decorated, the interior panels are covered with floral decorations. The coffered ceiling is also highly decorated, as is the drawer shelf. The bed consists of 2 wooden box springs and then a first structure supporting the decoration of the ceiling and the double-drawer shelf, then a second structure with the coffered ceiling and carved pediment. The bed is imposing with a length of 230 cm on the pediment side, a width of 182 cm and a height of 246 cm. The sleeping is 200 x 170 cm high at 65 cm. This bed is in good condition and of quality due to its construction and decorations, it has some small traces of use but all the elements are present.
