4 Exceptional baumann chairs

As seagulls and albatross, we don't know what bird name the baumann workshops used to designate these beautiful chairs from the 1960s. In thermoformed plywood, seating and open back are as comfortable as they are original. The hollowed-out back accentuates the curves with elegance and lightness while providing an obvious grip to lift and move the chair. Retro, the strict lines of the solid wooden compass base meet the curves of the seat. In a bistro, a nice pastry shop or around the kitchen table, this series of vintage wooden chairs will catch the eye, and sympathy! The chairs are old, dating back to the 1960s. The compass footing is made of solid wood. The seat and back are made of thermoformed plywood. The backrest is open, subtly bringing originality, lightness to the chair, and an easy grip to lift it. The hue is warm. Stable, comfortable and very strong, the chairs have a patina of significant use. Colours and varnishes are marked by the years and are worn out. Some chairs are signed under the seat. The price includes the series of 4 chairs. It is possible to build up a larger batch. 41cm wide, 41cm deep, 45.5cm high and 79cm in total height.
