Leather armchair by Sigurd Ressel for Vatne Mobler (Norway) 1960's

Rare model of leather armchair designed by the designer sigurd ressell (1920-2010). Produced by vatne mobler (norway). Circa 1960's. In black leather and black lacquered wood. The leather shows the signs of the times, it is cracked at the armrests and a tear on the seat cushion (see photos). The strapping has been redone.
