LCM by Charles and Ray Eames Herman Miller Edition

Iconic lcm chair by ray and charles eames edition herman miller 1970 also called, rest seat or booster chair. Seat and back thermo molded in ash black hue. The chrome metal base is connected to the shells by rubber and metal elements (original silentblocks in good condition). The shells have been restored cad taken back of black hue and installation of cellulosic varnish to the pad, some traces of wear on the chrome at the level of the metal base see on detail photo. Introduced in the fall of 1946, the eames lcm (loung chair metal) quickly became a classic of american design. Its seat and backrest are molded to fit the contours of each body and its rubber supports allow the chair to flex and move. This provides comfort rarely found in unradded seats.
