Antique Japanese porcelain Imari plate - Hand-painted flower decoration JAPAN

This ancient plate is decorated with an imari decoration composed of stylized flowers. In shades of blue, orange and green, it is very well made. The decorations are enamelled by touches and flats, the enamels form small reliefs giving depth to this plate. The imari decoration was invented in japan in the 18th century, it was then taken up by chinese porcelain makers and distributed in europe by the east india company. In good condition, it certainly comes from japan and measures 21 cm.
