Bauhaus collector's item, a former modernist functional chair from the 1930s with a tubular chrome-plated steel structure on which are fixed a curved wooden backrest and a pyroengraved seat with a 1900 style canning motif, evoking thonet chairs. The patina of the wood is original, like that of the partially missing chrome plating. The chair has been cleaned for the wood and metal part while preserving the traces of time use, by an invisible chemical fixation.  close model: chair by emile guiyot presented at the uam show in 1930, page 887, the 30s of anne bony. Chair attrubted to rené herbst in the 50s with a thermoformed plywood seat. This small model (low seat h40 cm) adapts to the secretary desk of jean prouvé (height 68 cm) Dimensions (cm): l38 X d39 X h71.seat h40.
