Snake Sofa by Hans Roebers for Zwaan, Netherlands, 1971

Conceived and manufactured as a limited edition piece of conceptual furniture, this enormous elongated snake form can be playfully manipulated into any configuration as desired. It can function as a sofa; bed or armchair…etc. The design was conceived in 1970s and likely manufactured in 1971. It has a zip at one end and is made of fabric with foam filling. At 10 meters this is a very long version. All original condition - it has a few small holes and some light stains as would be expected.
