Children's bust in biscuit signed by the national ceramic factory of sèvres. Located in limoges, the world capital of ceramics and porcelain in the nineteenth century, it is, to this day, still renowned for the exceptional pieces it produces, and for its know-how. The child is here dressed in a toga, his shoulder is bare, his wavy hair surrounds his childish face, highlighted by the serenity that emanates from it. This work is arranged on a plaster base. We will appreciate the delicacy and sweetness of this cookie. ******** Period: early twentieth century. Excellent condition. Maximum dimensions: height: 41 cm. Width: 27 cm. Depth: 16 cm. Bust weight: 2.32 kg. Base weight: 2.60 kg. Ref: 180822.
