Oval mirror 49x39 frame in enamelled cast iron pink Art Deco

This mirror is really charming with its enamelled cast iron frame of a pretty pink layette color, oval in shape with small returns on the top. Art deco style by the simplicity and symmetry of its lines, but with a small remnant of art nouveau by its returns at the top that recall plant forms, it could date from the 50s or even 30s according to some sources. At the back, it is equipped with a metal piece to hang it on the wall and 4 riveted swivel legs in the frame allow the mirror to be held in place. A thin cardboard piece was inserted at the back to protect the mirror I guess. This cardboard was damaged and more very clean, so I replaced it with a piece of cardboard of the same size and thickness. Mirror and frame are in very good condition for their age, no scratches, just three small light brown spots (about 1 mm) on the bottom of the frame, not very visible. A small paint job on the back edge of the frame, a tiny lack (less than half a millimeter) on the enamel at the left outer edge and one at the fixing at the back. It measures 49 cm in height, 39 cm in width and 2 cm in thickness and weighs about 3.2 kg.
