Painting - Prague - The St Charles Bridge

Table at bottom left Prague, signed at bottom right R.Pavard. Very good condition. The panel measures 33 X 41 " Robert Pavard is a French painter born in Rouen in 1922. Thanks to his musician and composer father, he grew up in an artistic environment where he rubbed shoulders with musicians and painters at a very young age. Painting is going to be the preferred way for him to show his sensitivity. (...) the multiple trips and installation that lead him to the south of France (Nimes) will modify and enrich his palette of warmer shades. Its tawny tones, its contrasting shadows, (...).
