Vase by Swedish Gunnar Borg 1970-80s. Gunnar Borg (1926-2007) Started working as a delivery boy at Andersson & Johansson in Höganäs at the age of just 14. Gunnar quickly proved to be a skilled potter, and after a short time in the company he was employed at the potter's wheel. He worked at Andersson & Johansson for 28 years. After an appreciated exhibition in Örkelljunga in 1968, he decided to leave Andersson & Johansson and open his own workshop on Kullagatan in Strandbaden/Höganäs. The workshop was called Gunnars Keramik. Gunnar Borg's best years were in the 1970s and 80s and he was active almost until his death. The vase measures 21 cm in height, 9.5 cm in diameter and weighs 785 grams. Very beautiful in the glaze and without chips, cracks or other defects (See the last picture, it has some tiny "white spots" from the production side, where the glaze is missing) Packed securely and shipped with insurance.
