Here is a very lovely terracotta ceramic with a beautiful ecru and blue glaze, a glaze that evokes ink stains. It is originally a salad bowl, I imagine, but it could find many other uses, such as a fruit bowl or a catch-all. It is the result of beautiful artisanal work, both in turning and glazing. It does not seem to be signed, but according to my research, it could be of Provençal or Catalan origin. However, I also have (for sale here) a mortar (and its pestle) that might come from the same pottery workshop (similar glazing) and has a mark underneath that resembles what I thought was just a simple glaze stain, possibly the letter C, whether by chance or signature, it's up to you to continue the research. This ceramic is in generally good condition, with no chips, but it does not hide its age and signs of use: a 2 cm hairline crack that is still well joined and not very visible, and several small nicks on the glaze at the rim. This ceramic measures 21 cm in maximum diameter and 8.5 cm in height.
