Charming bonbonnière covered in Quimper earthenware, signed HB Quimper (manufacture de La Hubaudière, Locmaria) with model number 6/00 on the back. This piece likely dates from the early to mid-20th century. The decoration is entirely hand-painted, in the traditional Breton style: ✦ Cobalt arabesque frieze on an ivory white background. ✦ Orange/ochre trim on the edges and handles. ✦ Lid adorned with a central medallion depicting a Breton woman in a headdress, in profile. ✦ Scalloped shape with two side handles. ✦ Dimensions: 13cm * 19cm. Condition: good overall condition — note a small chip on the edge of the lid (visible in photos), with no cracks. Ideal for a collection of Breton earthenware, an elegant catch-all, or vintage interior decoration with a regional character. Careful shipping.
