Interesting mahogany secretary with mahogany veneer featuring 4 drawers and 1 drop-down revealing the theatre. Secretary with a grey Saint Anne marble top and a façade with engaged columns adorned with typically Empire chiselled bronzes. The lower part consists of 3 drawers decorated with bronze handles, as well as lock entries embellished with palmettes and laurel crowns. The upper part conceals a drawer. The theatre consists of 5 drawers and a secret drawer. The top comprises 2 shelves supported by small columns. The drawer linings are made of oak, as is the back of the piece. The entire structure is fully mortised. The drawers are dovetail jointed.
