Denbac art-deco pitcher in flammé sandstone

The pitcher is in perfect condition, no gaps, no cracks or splinters. It is made of fiery sandstone from vierzon, and comes from the denbac workshop, created in the early 20s, by two partners, the ceramist rené denert and the manager rené-louis baluchon. These flammé sandstones with metallic reflections were made of natural clay cooked at very high temperature, thus making it possible to obtain vitrified, impermeable and solid objects. Each piece of flammé sandstone is unique. Superb enamel, colors, drips and crystallizations are typical of this beautiful production of the 30s. The piece is marked under enamel on the reverse, the mark being barely visible.
