Description
These three old white tin biscuit tins from the middle of the last century have a lot of life. With their illustrations, they carry the charm of a time far removed from individual plastic packaging. We plunged his hand into it and it was the lottery... Too bad if the cookie chosen was not the one we had hoped for, we ate it without making a fuss. But you could still admire the boxes with nice illustrations on them. These three models tell us about mother michael, the fables of jean de la fontaine and spanish folklore. The box on which father lustucru can be seen is part of a series on old france songs. The illustrator bozz is none other than rob-vel, the creator of spirou who had not yet given birth to his famous little bellboy at the time... The box of the brand damoiseau is illustrated by hirschfeld frères strasbourg. There is a different fable on each side. We have no information about the third box, which is the largest. But his drawings are borrowed from a charming romanticism with a musician serenading a beautiful flamenco dancer. The boxes are in their juice, the sheet metal is naturally oxidized and this adds authenticity and charm to the whole that will delight lovers of retro decoration or collectors. Box "flamenco" Height: 10.5 cm. Length: 26 cm. Width: 18.5 cm. Old songs box. Height: 8 cm. Length: 18 cm. Width: 12.5 cm. Damoiseau box. Height: 8 cm. Length: 17.5 cm. Width: 13 cm.
