Art Deco vase, Pierre d'Avesn, green honeycomb pattern

Magnificent 1930s molded green "honeycomb" glass vase. Created by Pierre d'Avesn (1901-1990), a sculptor and designer who graduated from the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, he was a student of François Decorchemont. He also worked for Malique and Daum. His work is characteristic of the Art Deco movement.
