This sewing box is handcrafted as evidenced by its asymmetrical appearance, which is original and not attributable to any accident. Made in czechoslovakia, it is made of wicker, vegetable fiber and scoubidou. Its interior is trimmed with yellow fabric. Some discreet wicker shortages are to be deplored; they do not detract from the aesthetics and functionality of the box. A perfect vintage gift for a couturier or seamstress.
