Rare pair of decorative staffordshire dogs. Unusual models depicting probably of the greyhound greyhound breed (the favorite of prince albert of saxony, husband of queen victoria, who for his part preferred king charles riders) with their puppies. Collector's item made in scotland or staffordshire in the nineteenth century. Scottish name "wally dug", wally meaning "earthenware" in scottish slang. Height 15 cm. Length 20 cm. Width 11 cm. In perfect condition. England xix°.
