The "cansado" model bench is an emblematic piece of furniture designed by charlotte perriand for the miferma company in the 1960s. It was specially designed to furnish the apartments of the company's executives in the mining town of cansado in mauritania. The design of the bench is resolutely modern and easy to integrate into a contemporary interior. The structure and base of the bench are made of black lacquered steel, while the seat is composed of 13 mahogany slats. The cushions have been redone, in nobilis mont blanc aqua wool sheet. The original edition of the "cansado" bench was produced by the steph simon publishing house in the years 1959-1967. This piece of furniture has become a reference in design and testifies to the visionary work of charlotte perriand. Edition steph simon, circa 1959 - 1967.
