Large ceramic vase, Silvano Vannuzzi 1960s

Large decorative vase in Italian ceramic made by the ceramist Silvano Vannuzzi. This model features a naïve hand-painted design depicting a frieze of stylised animals in powder pink, black, and nuanced grey tones, with a beautiful mineral texture typical of Italian artisanal productions from the 1960s-70s. The ample and balanced shape of the vase is enhanced by a raw and slightly patinated finish, adding a lot of character to the piece. Signature visible on the decoration.
