Unique floor lamp from the 1960s, model "Cocoon". One-of-a-kind piece available at the showroom in Marseille. Worldwide delivery possible with a personalised quote. Support before purchase. An icon of 20th-century Italian design, this spectacular "Cocoon" floor lamp was designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in the 1960s. Made using an innovative technique that involves spraying resin onto a metal structure, it diffuses a soft and warm light through its translucent shell reminiscent of a silk cocoon. Its organic silhouette, composed of four stacked volumes, creates a remarkable sculptural presence, even when turned off. Combining poetry, innovation, and functionality, this floor lamp has become one of the symbols of post-war Italian design. Equipped with multiple light sources that can be controlled independently, it allows for the creation of different lighting atmospheres: a dimmed light by only turning on part of the lamp or a more generous light by activating all the light points. A true collector's item, it brings enveloping light and a strong decorative identity to any interior. Dimensions: 145 X 30 cm.
