I felt a very strong desire to work with raw wool: not treated, not necessarily combed, nor spun… combined with mohair wool, for this contradictory side. This series of paintings is natural, revealing an effect of raw material while exuding a certain softness. Contrasts. Knotted stitch weaving. Composition: raw wool, padding wool, mohair wool, jute, hemp. Colors: ecru, brown, beige, gray.
